Two Farmingville Hills Chamber Members Celebrate Success at the Annual Brookhaven Chambers of Commerce Coalition Awards Reception
By Michael Wentz
We are thrilled to announce that two esteemed members of the Farmingville Hills Chamber of Commerce have emerged as winners at the prestigious Annual Brookhaven Chambers of Commerce Coalition (BCCC) Awards Reception. Held to recognize the outstanding contributions and achievements of small business owners within the Brookhaven community, this event is a celebration of entrepreneurship and innovation.
Each year, the BCCC presents a range of awards designed to support and empower small businesses facing various challenges. This year, in recognition of the ongoing struggles encountered by small business communities, the BCCC offered two enticement grants alongside its regular small business improvement grant.
Meet the Winners:

Diane Caudillo of The Messenger Papers
Diane Caudillo, representing The Messenger Papers, has been awarded the $1,200 business improvement grant. With this grant, Diane plans to invest in enhancing the capabilities of The Messenger Papers’ reporting team by purchasing two cameras and several versatile lenses. This strategic investment will not only improve the quality of their reporting but also enable them to capture captivating visuals that truly resonate with their audience.
Lisa Andree of Early Interactions
Lisa Andree, from Early Interactions, emerged as the recipient of the Brookhaven Enticement Grant. This grant will enable Lisa to acquire essential items for their facility, aimed at enhancing the experience for the children they serve. Among the items on Lisa’s shopping list are a website to improve their online presence, a kid roller coaster for fun and excitement, light-up tiles for their sensory room, a small bounce house for physical activity, a sensory table for sand or water play, glow-in-the-dark sand and black light for sensory exploration, and a small child pool for a ball pit adventure. These additions will undoubtedly enrich the environment at Early Interactions, providing children with engaging and stimulating experiences.
As members of the Farmingville Hills Chamber of Commerce, we are incredibly proud of Diane Caudillo and Lisa Andree for their well-deserved recognition at the BCCC Awards Reception. Their dedication, innovation, and commitment to excellence exemplify the spirit of entrepreneurship that we strive to foster within our community.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Diane and Lisa and wish them continued success in their endeavors. Their achievements serve as an inspiration to us all, reminding us of the incredible potential that lies within our local business community.
