About Marisa Pizza

Marisa Pizza has been a Farmingville resident for over four decades. A graduate of Sachem High School, she attended St. John’s University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Arts, with a concentration in Marketing. Marisa manages the Long Island Sales Office of HALO Branded Solutions as a Senior Account Manager for a sales team of 10.  HALO is the country’s largest promotional product company.  She has been in the industry for nearly 20 years.  Marisa serves on a variety of community and business-related nonprofit boards. She is the Executive Director of the Farmingville Residents Association, a 501(c)3 nonprofit civic organization.  She is the founding Director of Membership for the Farmingville Hills Chamber of Commerce, currently serving in the capacity of 1st Vice President –  Membership.  Additionally, Marisa serves as the Secretary on the Executive Board of the Farmingville Historical Society. She is the Director of Membership for POWER of Women Exchanging Resources, a nonprofit business organization for women.  Marisa sits on the Sachem Education Foundation Board of Directors, as well as the Patchogue Medford High School Industry Advisory Board. She serves as the current President of the Brookhaven Women and Youth Inc. nonprofit board, and is the Vice Chair on the Town of Brookhaven’s Women Advisory Board. Since 2011, she serves as the Recording Secretary on the Brookhaven Chambers of Commerce Coalition’s Executive Board of Directors.  Currently, Marisa serves as the Vice Chair and Press Secretary for the Green Party of Suffolk County, New York.  Since 2010, Marisa has been the Event and Marketing Manager for Long Island Feline Adoption Center, a nonprofit cat shelter located in Smithtown, New York.  She has served as the Public Relations Director for Move to Amend Brookhaven’s New York chapter, and serves as the Website, Newsletter, and Public Relations Chair for Decision Women in Commerce and Professions.  As a member of the 6th Precinct Level Advisory Board, Marisa works alongside other community leaders and our law enforcement community.  Since its inception, Marisa has been a member of Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine’s Downtown Revitalization Task Force Board.  She truly loves giving back, and seeing people in both life and business shine, and is grateful for all of the opportunities that she has been given.  Farmingville is her passion, and she is grateful to live and work in the community that she loves!
