Chamber Announces 2022 Member of the Year

The Farmingville Hills Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce our Member of the Year: Local Church!  Emily and Michael Liebler are relatively new members who have come out of the gate running! This husband-and-wife team are all about helping their new community and they show it! They have become an integral part of our chamber, due to their willingness to help wherever and whenever needed.

In Spring 2022 they offered their brand new, spacious church and hosted our multi-chamber event- which included chamber members from Farmingville, Holbrook , Ronkonkoma, and Middle Country. It was a great success at a time when in person meetings were only just beginning again.

They also partnered with the chamber and The Sachem Library for 2022 Summer Movie Nights. This allowed the event to be closer to many Farmingville residents, with safer parking than our previous location-and many families were better able to enjoy the shows than before!

During the Annual Street Fair last year, Emily offered our chamber team coffee and bagels and use of the restrooms during what is a very long day and this kindness meant so much! Additionally they have hosted several FHCC monthly meetings, from early on and while some covid restrictions were still in place, when a larger space was required; making the transition back to live meetings from pandemic Zoom meetings- once again possible!

And their sense of community continues – their next event in cooperation with our chamber is Family Matinee -‘ Ice Age’,  Saturday April 15th at 1pm … $3 Admission benefits Angelas House, and includes Popcorn & Drink.  Such a wonderful, affordable event for neighborhood kids on spring break!
The FHCC motto expresses- ‘ time to make a difference’; and Local Church is doing that! We are so glad they chose to become a part of our community, and our chamber.
