In November of 2019, the Farmingville Hills Chamber of Commerce kicked off the Business Improvement Speaker Series where the Board began incorporating a guest speaker that would present at monthly meetings to help benefit the meeting attendees. These 15 minute presentations cover a wide range of topics that would help improve member's businesses.
After an overwhelming positive response to the speakers, the Chamber began the Business Improvement Workshop Series in September 2023.

Michael Wentz has over 18 years of information technology (IT) and marketing experience. In addition to working with small businesses with their marketing efforts, Michael is the director of marketing and analytics for Adelphi University and is a professor for the Robert B. Willumstad School of Business.
Hands-On Work Shop Topic: Mastering Your Brand and Target Markets
Do you know what "your brand" is? Do you know your target market (audience)? Are you sending the right message, to the right people, at the right time?
This hands-ons 90 minute workshop will educate you on how to optimize your brand, identify your ideal target market, and how to maximize brand awareness in this audience.
Light food and refreshments will be served. All members in good standing are FREE. First-time visitors (non-members) are comped. 2 or more visits (non-members) will be charged a $15 fee.
